At the top right of the site you will find the 'go to map' link.
How to interpret the listing results.
Section 1
Includes the suburb, town (if outside the city) and closest host city.
Also indicates the number of beds available and the price per person sharing. The listing number is provided as a reference.
Section 2
Shows you how far the accommodation is from the stadium(s) in the nearest host city. For Johannesburg both Ellis Park and Soccer City will be displayed.
Section 3
Gives you a description of the accommodation along with any additional information that may be pertinent to your stay.
Section 4
The contact details: who to contact and the telephone number(s).
You can also click the 'send normal e-mail' to send an e-mail using the default e-mail package installed on your computer. However, if there is no default e-mail package this link will not function. If it does not work rather use the 'send e-mail from site' link to use the website e-mailing functionality.
Section 5
If there are images loaded against a listing you can click the 'show images' link to pop up a dialog that will display all the images.
Section 6
If there are GPS coordinates loaded against the listing you can click the 'show on map' link to switch to map view and display the listing.
Section 7
Our premium listing have booking functionality and this table displays how many beds are still available for each day in May, June, and July.
Using the 'accommodation' box to the left.
Host City
Select the city that you are trying to find accommodation in.
Once a city is selected you will have the option to select the distance from the relevant stadium.
For Johannesburg you have both Ellis Park and Soccer City but you may only select one of the distances to search on.
Beds Required
Select the number of beds that you require.
Once you have selected the number of required beds you are presented with the option to specify the check-in date and the duration of your stay in days. Please note that only our premium listings will be returned in the search results since they are the only ones that have the booking functionality enabled.
Ordering
If the results are to be ordered by both the price and date the results are first ordered by price and items wih the same price are then ordered by date.
Keywords / Listing Number
Enter any relevant keywords or the listing number to view a specific listing.
- The keywords are used to search the town, suburb, and description. Should the keywords be found in any of these the relevant listing will be returned.
- You do not explicitly have to use or, e.g.: car trailer is identical to car or trailer. This search will return all listings that contain the word car or trailer in the town, suburb, or description.
- However, you have to explicitly use and, e.g.: car and trailer. This search will return all listings that contain the word car and trailer in the town, suburb, or description.
- To group words use double quotation marks, e.g.: "car trailer". This search will return all listings that contain the word car trailer in the town, suburb, or description.
